In March 2013, Nansha College Preparatory Academy hosted the first South China Model United Nations (SCMUN), established by Irwin Stein, the former director of the school. The conference was facilitated under The Hague’s MUN (THIMUN) rules and principles with all students in participation. Together with several students in U-Link, the first conference was held successfully. Meanwhile, all teachers were involved in the approval panel to assist the conference. The first conference went smoothly.
